MegapolisMarket respects intellectual property rights under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
What This Policy Applies To
This policy covers copyright and trademark complaints relating to listings, photographs, descriptions, logos, and other content published on the Platform by users.
How to Report Infringement
Rights holders or authorised agents may submit a notice including:
- Your full name, address, email, and phone number
- Identification of the copyrighted work or trademark claimed to be infringed
- The URL or listing identifier of the allegedly infringing content on MegapolisMarket
- A statement explaining why the content infringes your rights
- Proof of ownership or authority to act on behalf of the rights holder
- A statement made in good faith that the information in the notice is accurate
- A statement that you agree to the jurisdiction of competent courts in India

Our Takedown Process
1. Acknowledge receipt within 24 hours where possible
2. Review the notice within 72 hours
3. Remove or disable access to content that is validly found to infringe
4. Notify the listing owner of the action taken
5. Allow counter-notification where the listing owner believes removal was in error
If Your Listing Was Removed by Mistake
If your listing was removed and you believe it was a mistake, you may submit a counter-notification with your contact details, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was erroneous, and consent to jurisdiction of competent courts in India.
Repeat Infringement and Account Closure
Accounts with multiple valid infringement claims may be permanently terminated.
