Certain items and services cannot be listed on MegapolisMarket because they are illegal, unsafe, deceptive, or violate Platform policies. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. MegapolisMarket may remove listings and take account action even if a category is not listed below.
What This Policy Covers
This Prohibited Items Policy applies to all listings on the MegapolisMarket website and mobile app. It works together with our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. If you are unsure whether an item is allowed, contact trust@megapolismarket.com before posting.
Basic Rules for Every Listing
- Only post items you are offering to sell — "want to buy" or "looking for" ads are not permitted
- Listings must use the correct category
- Descriptions must be accurate and must not misrepresent legality, ownership, or condition
- Unauthorised use of trademarks, brand logos, or copyrighted images is prohibited
- Listings must comply with Indian law and local regulations
Items and Services You Cannot Post

| Explosives & Hazards | Firecrackers where restricted, explosives, highly hazardous materials |
| Illegal Finance | Pyramid schemes, unlicensed lending, deceptive crypto offers |
| Discriminatory Listings | Ads that unlawfully target religion, caste, gender, or ethnicity |
| Human Remains & Organs | Any listing involving human body parts or remains |
| Government Documents | Passports, licences, or IDs offered for sale |
How Listings Are Checked
Listings may be automatically screened against our prohibited categories database. Flagged listings can be held for manual review and may not be published until cleared. Admin approval may be required for certain categories or new seller accounts.
What Happens If You Break the Rules
Posting prohibited items may result in immediate listing removal, account suspension, or permanent ban. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.
Reporting a Prohibited Listing
If you see a prohibited listing, use the Report button or email trust@megapolismarket.com with the listing URL and a brief description of the concern.
